Writing Samples
In my second year of graduate school, myself and three others conducted this research study. I contributed some primary sources, wrote the introduction and discussion sections, edited the paper in its entirety, created survey questions, and distributed the survey. This research paper was also accepted to the NYSCA Conference and awarded "1st Place Graduate Paper."
This is a sample of a press release a classmate and myself wrote during my undergrad at Hofstra. We were building a media kit for a mock music festival event and this is the press release we "issued" for it.
In my role as Marketing Support at Atomic Design, I have been responsible for website portfolio writing for the various jobs we take on. When writing these pieces, I must write in the ATOMIC "voice" as well as do research on the shows and what exact work we did for them. Additionally, I chose and resized the photos used in the portfolio and uploaded all assets to WordPress.
This is a mock budget I created for a graduate event/film production class. The event I created was for a television book adaptation airing on MAX. This event was the "kickoff" of the series. I did actual research with several vendors to collect my data and compile it all into a cohesive event budget.

This is an example of two biographies I wrote for a mock music festival during undergrad at Hofstra. I wrote them for two "underground" artists, at the time, who were appearing at the event.
I wrote this case study in a graduate-level class I took during undergrad. I was tasked with doing a case evaluation and presentation for a sexual assault case that occurred in Glen Ridge, NJ. It was a very public case and I evaluated how the media liaison handled its sensitivity poorly. I had to study this case, use critical thinking, research, and present findings.
I wrote this screenplay adaptation of the short story "The Yellow Wallpaper" for my undergraduate capstone assignment. "The Yellow Wallpaper" had always been a favorite story of mine, and I felt it held a more sinister undertone that I wanted to elicit, along with other women's issues.
